Now re-opened a few doors along from its original location--where Creek Road meets Greenwich Church Street--this is Greenwich’s first noodle shop. It opened in the mid-90's, and became an immediate hit.
The menu runs to 38 items--from starters like spring rolls and breaded deep-fried prawns (six large ones for £3.50) to a choice of noodle types (flour or rice noodles fried or in soup) with roast duck, seafood, chicken, etc; or rice dishes [ribs in blackbean sauce, chicken with satay sauce. No sweets--but house wine at £6.80 or beers from £1.30 to £2.80.
This is volume business--fast service, large portions, polished wood tables and benches seating around 100, and you sit where you’re told--but with most dishes at £3.50, that’s what you’d expect. Recommended!
