“The Spanish” sits on the corner of Greenwich Church Street as you swing into College Approach on Greenwich’s one-way system. Hosts Don and Diranne from the Emerald Isle have done an excellent job developing this pub--which because of its location and good choice of bar meals is popular with tourists. Upstairs, Diranne’s Restaurant serves lunch--and on Sundays a carvery with a choice of beef, lamb and pork accompanied by a big choice of veg. Well prepared and very generous portions.
