Formerly run by landlord Wayne Bridges--well-known to sixties Saturday-afternoon-tv “grappling fans”--this is the pub to relax with a drink on arrival at Greenwich station--and was one of the first pubs in the area to offer its patrons an Internet connection.
Upstairs, it's home to an award-winning fringe theatre which puts on plays of 3-4 week runs with performances most nights [except Mondays].
