A late to convert from the traditional "saloon and public-bar" layout
to open bar style, the Cricketers on the fringe of Greenwich market
has drawn inspiration from its name and is slowly building up its display
of cricketing memorabilia. In its present form it's a welcome addition
to the pubs in West Greenwich, serving Hancock's bitter, Guinness, Carling
and Tennant's lager, among others. It is also occasional host to the
Syncopated Footwarmers traditional jazz band on Sunday afternoons.
