Sited next to the bus stop in Nelson Road next to the Saigon Restaurant on Greenwich’s one-way system, the Bar du Musée was until the mid-70’s a hardware shop. It has a good atmosphere, with original wooden floor, massive display of bottles and antique odds and ends, including an almost complete set of Rake’s Progress prints. The small garden at the rear is the perfect setting for these lazy summer days. Food served throughout the day includes taramasalata and hommous with hot pitta bread and salad through to more substantial meals cooked on the premises. | ||||||||||||||||
